Currently listed as a RS CVn variable in SIMBAD, GCVS, and VSX, but as Kirkpatrick+2024(2024ApJS..271...55K) notes: "[AN Sex] is listed as an RS CVN variable in Berdnikov2008[2008PZ.....28....9B], but no
corroborating evidence of binarity has been found in the literature." The star appears to be a single star thus far (2024AJ....167...56C), with photometric rotation period longer than those observed for RS CVns (Prot=23.0d(2024A&A...684A...9S), Prot=21.56d(2012AcA....62...67K)), slow projected rotation (vsini < 2.0km/s ;2018A&A...612A..49R), no
sign of significant radial velocity variations (2002ApJS..141..503N reports rms variations <100m/s over 974days,
2017AJ....153..208B
reports RVs varying over <31m/s over 6069days) - none of which is consistent with RS CVn status.
