Such "wonderful" parallax and proper motion data should put this star on a definite collision course with the solar system (at any radvel <<0)! ;)
HIP2 gives plx = 241.17 [33.78], pmRA = 280.74 [18.80], pmDE = 189.74 [18.92] so, at least, the Earth is saved thanks to the new Hipparcos reduction! :)
