It appears that the LFT catalog (Luyten 1955;
1955LFT...C......0L
) originally designated this star as "LFT 1713" and "L 83-62", it later appeared in Luyten (1979;
1979LHS...C......0L
) as "LHS 3803" and "L 86-62".
It currently appears in SIMBAD with the alias "L 86-62", however the original "L 83-62" does not appear (it is not clear if this was a typo in Luyten 1955 or not?).
