HD 290609: binary star whose revised Hipparcos parallax has large uncertainties (41.92 +- 20.09 mas), and lacks Gaia DR2 parallax. There is no corroborating evidence to suggest that the star could be as nearby as suggested by the revised Hipparcos parallax - it appears to be a B8 at least a few hundred pc away, likely associated with Ori OB1 association. The best parallax currently available (and what should probably be adopted as default SIMBAD value) is original Hipparcos parallax:
plx = 1.18 +- 1.10 mas
