The object doesn't seem to be a planetary nebula at all, and looks much more like a gas/dust cloud if anything. It's not even spherical in appearance (more of a tadpole shape), nor does it peak at PN wavelengths.
See this image: http://ps1images.stsci.edu/cgi-bin/fitscut.cgi?red=/rings.v3.skycell/2353/077/rings.v3.skycell.2353.077.stk.y.unconv.fits&blue=/rings.v3.skycell/2353/077/rings.v3.skycell.2353.077.stk.r.unconv.fits&green=/rings.v3.skycell/2353/077/rings.v3.skycell.2353.077.stk.i.unconv.fits&x=24.679083&y=55.082889&size=1000&wcs=1&asinh=True&autoscale=90.750000&output_size=1024
The object is in an area of mostly negligible reddening (one can see an edge-on galaxy in the same image, to the left) so the only way this could be a PN is if it was obscured by a large amount of neutral dust and gas in front of it.
