The new Gaia DR2 astrometry (plx = 2.1043 +- 0.0206 mas) confirms that this is a distant background star, and that the revised Hipparcos parallax was erroneously too large (100.33 +- 34.48 mas). This is not a nearby (<10 pc) star.
