Gaia DR2 finds parallax of 0.5877+-0.0407 mas, which does not corroborate the large parallax quoted by
2016AJ....151..160F
(103.2+-18.4 mas). The Gaia colors and parallax for the star are more consistent with a distant K giant.
Hence this does not appear to be a nearby star.
