Hi,
I notice that NGC 2818 refers to the Planetary Nebula and that NGC 2818A refers to the open star cluster.
I believe that this should be the other-way-round as the cluster would have be seen and documented many, many years before the Planetary Nebula was discovered.
I could very well be wrong and if so, some sort of basic explanation would be appreciated.
