Following the Bright Star Catalog, Beta Cap is commonly called "Dabih", however "beta" is really two stars bet01 Cap (V=3.1) and bet02 Cap (V=6.1), referred to by the proper names:
HR 7776 (bet Cap) = "Dabih"
HR 7776 (bet01 Cap) = "Dabih Major"
HR 7775 (bet02 Cap) = "Dabih Minor"
Given that bet01 Cap is 3 magnitudes brighter than bet02 Cap, any occurance of "Dabih" is usually attributed to the brighter star bet01 Cap.
Use of the names "Dabih Major" for bet01 Cap and "Dabih Minor" for bet02 Cap has been seen over the past two centuries:
(1) Joseph Piazzi (1814) "Praecipuarum Stellarum Inerrantium Positiones Mediae Ineunte Saeculo XIX. Ex Observationibus Habitis In Specula Panormitana Ab anno 1792 ad annum 1813".
(2) Admiral Wiliam Henry Smyth (1881) "A Cycle of Celestial Objects" (revised, condensed, and greatly enlarged by George F. Chambers, F.R.A.S of the Inner Temple, Barrister-at-law, 2nd edition, Oxford, Clarendon Press).

Use of the name "Dabih" alone, attributed to bet01 Cap or bet Cap, is seen in the following references:
