RX J1243.1-7458 = [K2001c] RX J1243.1-7458A:
The current SIMBAD positions for RX J1243.1-7458 and its components are currently too poor to connect the objects with its correct counterparts.
The optical counterpart to the ROSAT X-ray source RX J1243.1-7458 is clearly shown on plate 3 of Alcala et al. (1995; 1995A&AS..114..109A). Murphy et al. (2013) has correctly identified the optical counterpart to be at position RA, Dec = 190.721250, -74.980278 (J2000). Skiff's also lists the optical counterpart to be within 1.5" of this position, and upon my own examination of Alcala's finder chart - I agree. RX J1243.1-7458 = [K2001c] RX J1243.1-7458A, so these SIMBAD entries should probably be combined. This source also has alias 2MASS J12425332-7458480 = UCAC4 076-021114 = allWISE J124253.18-745848.1 = SPM4 400044160. The best available coordinates for RX J1243.1-7458A is probably from SPM4: (J2000) 190.7221917, -74.9799962.
The two companions listed by Kohler (2001) are:
[K2001c] RX J1243.1-7458B: delta(K) = 0.386 mag,
0.28" separation from "A", PA = 84.7 deg. This star does not currently have a separate entry in any star catalogs (other than the Washington Double Star catalog).
[K2001c] RX J1243.1-7458C: delta(K) = 0.244 mag, 2.513" separation from "AB", PA = 258.7 deg.
This star only appears as a separate entry in one star catalog, as C2D J124252.7-745849 (Evans+ 2003, DR4 of the C2D Spitzer survey). Its coordinates were listed as (J2000) 190.719666 -74.980187.
