The position accuracy of CGCS 87 in Alksnis (2001) is only 3. Two possible candidates are 2MASSJ 00353794+6128526 and 2MASSJ 00354644+6127105 located at nearly 1' from the position quoted in SIMBAD. From a photometric study the second star is more likely as a reddened early (hot) carbon star.
The first one which could also be oxygen-rich (say F9-G0 giant) cannot be
totally discarded.
