A correction to my earlier annotation:
The earliest mention of TW PsA being a possible companion to Fomalhaut appears to be from Luyten (1938, AJ, 47, 115): http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1938AJ.....47..115L
Also, Fomalhaut has been considered a A3V standard of the MK spectral classification system *continuously*
(it is listed as one of the rare "anchor" standards that has remained unchanged over the decades by Garrison 1994: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/1994ASPC...60....3G ). The A4V type currently listed by SIMBAD (attributed to Gray et al. 2006) is erroneous.
