This star's proper motion on the SIMBAD main data page is incorrect (this also shows up in the Aladin image's proper motion arrow). This object has a very small PM (11.9 mas/yr in UCAC2) and it is not physically associated with GJ 337. The WDS lists 3 measurements of separation and position angle; over 90 years, the PA has changed by only 1 degree (the A component is heading almost directly away from B), but the separation has increased by 53" in that time interval.
The WDS lists the discovery identifier for this star as BUP 125B.
The real GJ 337B is a close visual/SB2O companion with the A component; other identifiers are WDS 09123+1500 Ab and CCDM J09123+1459P. Perhaps a new data page for this component could be set up in SIMBAD.
