This star also can be identified with NLTT 40004, [RHG95] 2426 (where it has SpT = M3.5), USNO-B1.0 0621-00415309, UCAC3 125-174902, 2MASS J15221293-2749436, and DENIS-P J152212.8-274944. The [RHG95] identifier and references are listed on the GJ 2112A page, but probably would be more appropriate on the GJ 2112 system page.
An additional reference is Eggen (1980, ApJS, 43, 457), which is the source used by ARICNS for the possible binarity of this star (Eggen's note reads: "In good seeing this appears as a possible double of equal components"). Bartlett et al. (2009) failed to find any optical or astrometric indications of multiplicity in this star, and I was unable to find any other literature indicating that it is a binary.
