It is a T Tau star. Period changes in RS CVn stars of this kind, around 33.6 days to 32.9 days for the full ASAS3 data, are not known.
T Tau stars can also show rotational variation due to starspots.
Latest ASAS3 lightcurve, when available, shows the amplitude to have increased even further.
This is again at somewhat too large a rate for the usual RS CVn.
Unpublished spectra for a candidate list for a Hubble Space Telescope T Tau coronograph project revealed the spectrum to be K4 V-IV
