WASP-3 is listed as a binary in Washington Double Star catalog (WDS J18345+3540), with the candidate companion at sep=1.2", PA = 87 deg. Ngo et al. (2015ApJ...800..138N) designates the companion WASP-3B, reports JHK photometry (e.g. J = 16.88+-0.12, K = 15.913+-0.027), and confirms common proper motion with WASP-3.
However, at wider separation (sep 18".33, PA = 245.82 deg), it appears that WASP-3 has an additional companion whose Gaia DR2 astrometry is also consistent with common proper motion and parallax:
2MASS 18343025+3539340 = Gaia DR2 2095108312831833984
RA, Dec = 278.62602398073 +35.65934543258 (ICRS, epoch 2015.5)
plx = 4.1721 +- 0.0268 mas
pmRA, pmDec = -7.393, -23.341 (+-0.043, 0.055) mas/yr
G = 13.6039
WASP-3 = Gaia DR2 2095108312831835648
RA, Dec = 278.63174113666 +35.66143115341 (ICRS, epoch 2015.5)
plx = 4.2974 +- 0.0304 mas
pmRA, pmDec = -6.069, -21.745 (+-0.042, 0.049) mas/yr
G = 10.4525
The companion's color-mag data (M_G = 6.7, Bp-Rp = 1.49) are consistent with a ~K5 dwarf.
Hence WASP-3 appears to be at least a stellar triple.
