Cross-ID: Gaia DR2 4064714550310189440
Gaia DR2 parallax 282.1985+-2.0750 mas is suggestive of a nearby star (3.5 pc), but the star is clearly a very distant Mira variable and the large parallax is likely erroneous.
2013AcA....63...21S
finds the star to have multiple detected pulsations, with the strongest being ~1.6 mag amplitude with period ~535 days. Taken at face value, the 2MASS Ks magnitude (8.435) and Gaia DR2 parallax would imply absolute magnitude M_Ks=10.69 (consistent with ~L0), but the J-Ks color (5.26) is far too red to be ~L0, and the IR excess (W4 = 0.582+-0.018!) is also inconsistent with being a nearby ultracool dwarf.
