There is some confusion between the components of the system
LDS 785
made of a hot white dwarf (Northern star,
LAWD 92
) and a dM star (Southern star,
2MASS J22272072-3411223
).
The
A
component is reported in the WDS as being the white dwarf. The names are:
LTT 9030
=
L 573-109
=
NLTT 53873
=
LP 984-111
=
LAWD 92
the B component is the M2V star. The names are:
LTT 9031
=
L 573-108
=
NLTT 53872
=
LP 984-110
... indeed confusing; while the LTT indicates the white dwarf as being the primary (slightly brighter in blue, position angle 198°), the NLTT indicates the dM star as being the primary (brighter in red in near-IR, position angle 15°)
