SIMBAD entry represents unresolved binary system. Gliese catalog lists entry as GJ 1005 AB, and the system is broken into GJ 1005A and GJ 1005B in
2012ApJ...753..156K
. It would be helpful if there were either two separate entries, or that queries for "GJ 1005A" and "GJ 1005B" individually would find their way to the entry for "GJ 1005".
WDS lists the GJ 1005AB pair as spectral type M3.5V+M5V, and there is long history of the unresolved pair being classified as M4V (1985ApJS...59..197B,
