HIP 12703: Van Leeuwen (2007) lists revised parallax 100.33+-34.48 mas. Despite this large parallax, it seems unlikely that this star belongs within the 10pc sample. The original Hipparcos parallax was quite small (3.39+-2.46 mas) and the UCAC5 proper motion is small (pmRA, pmDec = -5.6+-1.1, -19.2+-1.1 mas/yr).
Given the small proper motion, Sun-like star color (B-V=0.622+-0.039) combined with faint magnitude (V=12.16; HIP), it is likely that this is a much more distant star than indicated by the revised Hipparcos parallax.
