Note: there is some confusion in Simbad and in the literature about what source actually corresponds to the X-ray detection ROX 12 in Montmerle et al. (1983) and ROXs 12 in Bouvier & Appenzeller (1992), and which was later shown to host a close companion with a mass near the deuterium-burning limit by Kraus et al. (2014). The X-ray source ROXs 12 with the imaged companion corresponds to 2MASS J16262803-2526477. Incorrect coordinates for ROXs 12 are listed in Ratzka et al. (2005) and Kraus et al. (2014), although both studies observed the correct star (ROXs 12). These incorrect coordinates correspond to 2MASS J16262774-2527247, which also happens to be a young Oph/USco member located ~40" south of ROXs 12.
