This is not the large HII (7' x 5') region DEM S44 (which is located at 0:48:58.53 -73:25:39.76 (FK5, 2000, 2000), see 2011A&A...529A..40S
LHA 115-N 31 is instead an emission line star (e.g.
1956ApJS....2..315H
or 1993A&AS..102..451M), and also a YSO (candidate) (2007ApJ...655..212B and
2013MNRAS.428.3001O
)
and perhaps even associated with a COMPACT HII region (2008A&A...487..567C).
Many of the references are related to the 5'x7' DEM S44 HII region, and are not at all related to the point source LHA 115-N 31 (which is located inside (in front, behind) DEM S44). Searching the references in the reference list for information on the LHA 115-N 31 point source is not giving many actual results.
I think DEM S44 is related to (ionized by) AzV 47, an O8III massive star, but I could not locate any reference to verify that idea. In any case, I think DEM S44 should be listed as a separate object with the coordinates given above.
