HD 239960 is a double star. SIMBAD says its parallax is 249.94 milliarcseconds. So its component stars HD 239960A and HD 239960B should have about the same parallax and distance. Instead, SIMBAD says they each have a parallax of 10.
The 10 figure is referenced, but I didn't find the star in the reference. Someone confused GI860A and B with GJ 860 A and B.
I'm not a professional astronomer, so please don't assume I understand everything. Art LaPella
