Very inaccurate position for that carbon star (quality 3 in Alksnis+ 2001). After
investigation I suggest
CGCS 132
= 2MASSJ00531627+5630396.
2000 coordinates : 0h 53m 16.278s +56° 30' 39.83" at r= 2',006 North-West
of the quoted position.
Through identifications in various catalogs (USNO B1 Monet+2003, GSC2.3
2006, Egret+ 1992, FONAC Kislyuk 1999 ...) I favor B= 13.73 V=11.95
Ic=9.92 J=8.51 H=7.65 and K=7.38 pointing to a hot carbon star (HC3)
reddened by E(B-V)= 0.51.
Any remark or criticism welcome.
Remark: the emission nebulae NGC 281, S 184 (associated bright and dark
nebulosities) is seen in this area (as a foreground object ...)
