After careful checks (by N. Samus, assisted by Elena Kazarovets):
The star NSV 371 was entered in our catalogs of suspected variables because of a paper by a very careful researcher D.Ya. Martynov. He observed WZ And and suspected variations for the comparison star "n" in 1.0' to the east and 10.2' to the south of WZ And. Martynov quotes the equatorial coordinates 0h53m45s +37°8.7', 1855, in excellent agreement with GSC 2799.1524. His offset from WZ And also seems OK. What he suspected were variations with an amplitude about 0.5m, nothing to do with Delta Scuti variations. GSC 2799.1524 really seems constant (at least according to the ROTSE-I/NSVS survey).
Simbad was therefore updated accordingly (2011-02-22)
