This star can also be identified with L 353-9, NLTT 51254, USNO-B1.0 0451-00787257, UCAC3 091-439351, CCDM J21270-4449 B, WDS 21270-4449 B, and 2MASS J21265289-4448466. The WDS identifies this star with LDS 6352, which is not listed in the LDS catalog at CDS. In the WDS, two relative position measurements 39 years apart indicate common motion with HIP 105911 (GJ 828 A).
The paper by Raghavan et al. (
2010 ApJS, 190, 1
) could be added to the list of references for this star. The paper includes a CTIO spectral type of M3.5 V and new VRI photometry (V = 13.49, R = 12.29, and I = 10.71).
A more accurate J2000.0 position for this star is 21 26 52.90 -44 48 46.6, from applying the Simbad listed proper motion to the 2MASS J1999.6320 position. The paper by Raghavan et al. (2010) and the NLTT, WDS, and 2MASS catalogs all list a separation of around 90" from the A component; Salim and Gould (2003, ApJ, 582, 1011) are at variance from this with AB separation 63.7".
