A hot X-ray region in Centaurus can be attributed to a single intense source whose maximum likely position is J1950 RA 13h 09m Dec -62.0°, error radius 1.5°.[1] Sounding rocket observations in the 2-15 keV range place the source at RA 13h 52m Dec -64°,[2] RA 13h 20m Dec -60°, error radius 2°,[3] and RA 13h 24m Dec -62°, error radius 2.5°.[4]
