The entry for the star HD 34700 seems to be confused with a galaxy. For HD 34700, several pieces of information are incorrect:
1. The coordinates: for HD 34700 2MASS coordinates are: 05 19 41.40 +05 38 42.8
2. Magnitudes at R, J, H, and Ks: NOMAD gives the R as 8.75. 2MASS magnitudes are J=8.041 [0.023], H=7.706 [0.023] and Ks=7.482 [0.024]. As you can see, these clearly make more sense with the listed B and V because otherwise the star would have unbelievable negative colors
3. Radial velocity / Redshift: the redshift listed clearly belongs to the galaxy
The essential note says the star is considered a binary in 2006A&A...445..331C, which, while true is not exceptionally helpful. The correct references for its binarity is 2003A&A...408L..29A
